Hesketh
Bank AFC

In keeping with our mission of empowering all girl/women in sports, when the secretary of Hesketh Bank AFC under 11’s team appealed for sponsorship, we jumped at the chance to help this new team. We started by providing refreshments for the parents, volunteers and visitors to each home match, raffle prizes for fund raisers and we have enabled a team building day for the girls at Wigan’s Ninja Warrior venue, fostering community spirit and youth development. We continue to support the girls with match kit and training kit sponsorship for the coming 2025/26 season, along with more team building activities.

ELHT&Me Charity T Shirt Sponsorship Initiative

As a proud partner of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust through its official charity, ELHT&Me, we are excited to support community engagement and fundraising efforts that directly benefit patient care and wellbeing across East Lancashire. We are contributing to the visibility and success of ELHT&Me’s fundraising events by sponsoring branded t-shirts worn by fundraisers and supporters. These t-shirts have been prominently featured at a variety of community events, including charity runs, awareness walks, hospital open days and local festivals.

Nightsafe

Nightsafe are a local Charity set up in 1990 by a group of local people, with the aim of alleviating the plight of homeless and vulnerably housed young people within the borough of Blackburn with Darwen and surrounding areas. The Nightsafe charity works with young people who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness and will provide accommodation, day centres with information, advice and guidance. They also help with emergency needs and empower our young people to play a positive part in their local community. After reading a post on LinkedIn we engaged with one of Nightsafe’s Board of trustees to learn more about the charity and are now on board as a Hero Patron, donating to Nightsafe to ensure the charity can continue to offer its services to those young people at risk of homelessness.

This initiative ensures that individuals in crisis receive essential food supplies and access to additional support services.
