My role as a transformational specialist incorporates 22 years of healthcare experience, the most recent 16 years supporting NHS Organisations. I am qualified in leadership and management; I have managed several new services from bid stage through CQC registration and finally mobilisation. I am also an accomplished project manager, over the past 6 years focusing on Capital project management and delivery of major schemes through the P21+ and P22 procurement routes on behalf of several different NHS Trusts in the Northwest. I have the capacity to communicate at all levels to support and inspire services to understand and challenge their healthcare planning needs, adopt flexible future proofed working practices whilst instilling a culture of quality, safety, and patient focused care.

Joyce Bowler

As a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience across the NHS, the independent sector, the voluntary sector and local government, I enjoy being part of successful and quality focused teams. I am a transformational manager and I have a proven track record delivering a high level of performance whilst employing excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. I am an experienced Programme Manager with the talent to formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects across multiple departments and organisations. This includes developing and controlling deadlines, budgets, and activities. I have a clinical background in Infection Prevention and Control Nursing and in NHS Continuing Healthcare and this has given me the ability to translate extremely complex information into simple to understand language.

Des Boyd

MHS Technical Director

Des brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and specialist healthcare engineering and estates knowledge to our business, having worked within the private healthcare and NHS sector at senior level over the past 25 years, as well as a successful engineering career outside of healthcare.

His role within the organisation will see an even greater influence on the technical project management and client focused estate operational needs as he supports the wider MHS team in delivery of projects and in the further development of our business.

Nikki Eliot

Project Manager – Capital Project Management

As a Project Manager at MHS, I am responsible for the successful delivery of Capital and P22/P23 Project Management work programmes and ensuring effective delivery of key projects. I lead the delivery on a number of healthcare construction and transformation schemes across the Northwest of England, with support from the wider MHS team for projects ranging in value from £1m to £100m+.

I ensure provision of projects to include programme development and achievement, cost management, contractual administration, stakeholder and user engagement, chairing and attending user group and design meetings and lead proactively to ensure all actions are delivered, escalating concerns as they are identified.

I am Prince2 and Better Business Case Certified, with an eye to expand my skillset and ensure that I bring the best skillset to my projects and to the MHS team.

Katie Coles

Junior Project Manager – NHS Continuing HealthCare

My role as a junior project manager includes keeping our clients up to date at all stages of the project as well as updating our internal data. I liaise with our nurses daily to ensure that I get a real time insight of our progress and keep the communication lines open between our client and the MHS team.

Jane Pilkington

Office Administrator

My role entails varied administration tasks to support MHS from multiple facets. I liaise with clients on a daily basis and ensure that MHS staff members have everything they need to provide a gold standard service.

Kevin Bowler

IT & Systems Manager

With 25 years’ experience in administration and finance working across the Independent Sector and the voluntary sector, I bring positivity, experience, a creative approach to solving problems, and the ability to embrace change enthusiastically. I bring a passion for health and welfare, and the ability to always treat citizens in a way that makes them feel individual and customers in a way that will ensure they become long-term advocates of MHS. Finally, I will bring an ability to multi-task across general office administration, IT and finance, and the resourcefulness to complete challenging tasks and projects on time, and the assurance that I will always take steps to improve, grow and develop.

Debbie Fairclough

Associate Specialist

With over 21 years’ experience of working within NHS corporate governance functions including senior corporate management roles I find being part of fast-moving transformational teams exhilarating. With a background that includes working in several health bodies and forums in several guises my specialist skills include Healthcare Law which has enables me to support organisations to navigate several legal requirements when implementing key projects as well as advising on lawful decision-making procedures. I specialise in CCG Constitutions, SFI’s and standing order, as well as CHC improvement and its associated governance and legal requirements.

Louise Testa

Associate Specialist

Louise is an experienced transformation programme manager across public and private sector, built on 25 years’ experience of management and leadership roles. The last 8 years have been focussed on Programme delivery in Healthcare and the NHS. Successfully working with Estates & Facilities teams and Operational Management to deliver Capital schemes, redevelop Estates, support Operational change aligned to Clinical & Financial strategies and respond to extremist healthcare demands. Louise is responsible for delivering a diverse mix of both P22/23 and Design and Build Capital schemes across multiple frameworks to suit the budget, timeframe and environment. She is able to adapt according to the task, where schemes range from New Builds to phased redevelopment in live environments, involving team and service decants which require a very agile approach whilst successfully managing & motivating to deliver the scheme and improved healthcare.

Zoe Churchman

Project Support Officer

As part of the MultiHealth Specialists team I actively support the effective delivery of healthcare construction and transformation scheme projects ranging in value from £1m to £25m+. I coordinate and communicate with our key NHS partner specialists, both clinical and non-clinical, external consultants, statutory bodies and project contractors daily, participating in project groups, developing comprehensive engagement and communication strategies.

Colette Hough

Business & Social Value Manager

As the Business and Social Values manager for MultiHealth Specialists I am the key liaison for our clients and support the wider MHS team with the delivery of the Capital and P22/P23 Project Management work programmes. With general day to day management of key business needs and leading on our social value commitments, human resource planning requirements and promotion of our accomplishments.

Mark Penny

Project Supervisor

Mark is highly experienced capital project manager, having worked in the NHS for over 20 years and joined MultiHealth Specialists in 2022. He has delivered a number of large-scale new build and refurbishment schemes as P21+, P22 and now P23 Project Supervisor over the past 15 years, and led numerous capital schemes ranging in value from minor works to larger £20m+ new builds. Mark understands patient flow and works with the design teams, clinical teams and services to understand the individual and specific needs, and to develop the very best environment for patients and their visitors. He has a very keen eye for detail and expects a high-quality finish for our clients, which he always ensures is achieved.
